NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN A PRIZE. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. SWEEPSTAKES BEGINS JANUARY 10, 2007 AND ENDS MARCH 14, 2007 (“ENTRY PERIOD”). SWEEPSTAKES OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES WHO ARE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AT THE TIME OF ENTRY. VOID IN PUERTO RICO AND WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
1. TO ENTER: No purchase necessary to participate in Sweepstakes. Sweepstakes begins 12:00:01 AM Eastern time January 10, 2007 and ends 11:59:59 PM Eastern time on March 14, 2007 (“Entry Period”). To enter at participating MaggieMoo’s locations, hand print your name, age, address and telephone number on an official entry form, or on a plain piece of 3” x 5” paper, and deposit completed entry in the ballot box provided. Enter as often as you like, but limit one (1) entry per person, per day. No photocopied or mechanically reproduced entries will be accepted. No responsibility is assumed by MaggieMoo’s International LLC (“Sponsor”) for lost, late, illegible or misdirected entries. All materials submitted become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. All entries must be deposited no later than March 14, 2007 to be eligible for the drawing.
To enter by text message, text Maggie and your email address to 47647 during the Entry Period. Limit one entry per cell phone number per day, regardless of whether more than one person uses the same cell phone number. In case of a dispute as to the identity of a winner who enters, entry will be declared made by the registered user (meeting eligibility criteria) of the cell phone number, and if a prize is won, will be awarded to that registered user. Standard rate text message charges will be charged by the mobile carrier per your calling agreement and rate plan. Two-way text enabled phone and digital service is required to enter via text message. Text message service is available only from participating carriers, and may not be available in all areas or locations. All text message entries must received by 11:59:59 PM Eastern time on March 14, 2007 to be eligible for the drawing.
To enter online, access www.maggiemoos.com during the Entry Period, complete the official online entry form including name, email address, birth date, and submit as instructed to register for sweepstakes. Participants entering must have a valid e-mail address. Limit one entry per person and per e-mail address per day, regardless of whether more than one person uses the same e-mail address. In case of a dispute as to the identity of a winner who enters, entry will be declared made by the registered user (meeting eligibility criteria) of the e-mail account, and if a prize is won, will be awarded to that registered user. All online entries must be received by no later than 11:59:59 PM Eastern time on March 14, 2007 to be eligible for the drawing.
In case of multiple entries from any one person or cell phone number or e-mail address, only the first entry per day will be accepted. The use of robotic, repetitive, automatic, programmed or similar entry methods of agents (including but not limited to, sweepstakes entry services) are prohibited and will void all such entrant’s entries.
2. COMMUNICATION: MaggieMoo’s International LLC, their affiliates, subsidiaries, parent companies, advertising and promotion agencies, printers and judges involved in this promotion are not responsible for any inaccuracies in information which may be used in the Sweepstakes, for any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of entries, including data entered by entrants, any entry miscommunications such as technical failures related to computer, telephone, cell phone, cable, and unavailable network or server connections, related technical failures, or other failures related to hardware, software or virus, or incomplete, late or misdirected entries. Any compromise to the fair and proper conduct of this Sweepstakes related to a computer virus, or similar type of technical impairment that may affect the proper fairness, security and administration of the Sweepstakes may result in the termination, amendment or modification of the Sweepstakes, or portion thereof at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to void any entries of entrants whom Sponsor believes has attempted to tamper with or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of this Sweepstakes.
3. PRIZE: One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected. Grand Prize is a four-day/three-night trip for four (4) people to Hershey, Pennsylvania. Grand Prize trip includes round-trip, coach class air transportation from an airport near winner’s home within the U.S. to Harrisburg, PA; one (1) quad-occupancy standard hotel room for three (3) nights at the Hershey Lodge; four (4) two-day passes to HersheyPark; four (4) tickets for the Hershey Trolley Works town tour; four (4) tickets to the Really Big 3-D Show at Hershey’s Chocolate World; and $200 in Chocolate Currency. If winner lives within 200 miles of Hershey, PA, ground transportation will be awarded in lieu of air transportation (no cash balance awarded). Approximate retail value (“ARV”) of grand prize: up to $4,600, depending upon winner’s point of travel origin. Selection of airline and hotel is at Sponsor’s sole discretion. All other expenses not specifically mentioned herein are solely the responsibility of winner and guests. Travel must be completed September 30, 2007. All travel subject to availability and restrictions. Winner and travel guests must travel on same itinerary. A minor may accompany winner as a travel guest only if minor’s parent or legal guardian is the winner, or a travel guest of the winner. A minor must be accompanied at all times during trip (including, but not limited to, in-flight, hotel stay and all prize-related events) by minor’s parent or legal guardian. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for cancelled, delayed, suspended or rescheduled events (including airline flights) beyond its control. Winner and travel guests (or parent/legal guardian of minor guest) must sign and return a Liability and Travel release before any ticketing or travel occurs. Winner and guests (unless guest is a minor) must have all necessary identification and/or travel documents (e.g. a valid U.S. driver’s license) required for travel within the United States.
4. DRAWING: Winner will be selected at random from among all valid entries received by an independent judging agency, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Drawing will be conducted on or about March 30, 2007. Odds of winning the prize will depend on the number of valid entries received. Limit one prize per person, household or address. Prize will be awarded.
5. ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes participation is open only to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of MaggieMoo’s International, LLC (“Sponsor”), participating MaggieMoo’s stores, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, printers and judges, each of their respective parent companies, and members of the immediate families or households of any of the above are not eligible to participate or to win a prize.
6. GENERAL: No substitution of prize is offered, no transfer of prize to a third party is permitted and non-cash prizes may not be redeemed for cash value, except as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Entries received without a verifiable and legible address may not be accepted at Sponsor's sole discretion. Void wherever prohibited or restricted by law. Prize winner will be solely responsible for paying all applicable federal, state and local taxes on prize; winner may receive an IRS Form 1099 for the prize retail value. No groups, clubs, newsletters or organizations may reproduce or distribute any portion of these Official Rules to its members. All entrants, as a condition of entry, agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which shall be final and binding.
7. WINNER NOTIFICATION: Potential Grand Prize winner will be notified by mail at the address provided at the time of entry. Potential Grand Prize winner will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility & Liability/Publicity Release (where permitted), and/or Prize Acceptance Form, within ten (10) days of receiving such prize claim paperwork as a condition of receiving the prize. Failure to return any required documents within the ten (10) days may result in prize forfeiture, and an alternate winner may be selected. Prize will be awarded as soon as winners’ compliance with these rules is verified.
Return of any prize notification as “undeliverable” will result in disqualification. In the event of disqualification of any potential winner, prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Sponsors and their agencies are not responsible for notifications that are misdirected because of addresses that are no longer correct, or for any other reason beyond the control of Sponsors.
8. RELEASE OF LIABILITY: All entrants, as a condition of entry into the Sweepstakes, agree to release Sponsor, participating MaggieMoo’s stores and the Independent Judging Organization from and against any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons or property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of any prize awarded, or while preparing for, participating in or traveling to or from any prize-related activity or any typographical or other error in these Official Rules or the announcement of offering of any prize. Except for residents of TN and where prohibited by law, winners grant to Sponsor the right to print, publish, broadcast and use worldwide in any media now known or hereinafter known the winner’s name, address, voice, statement, picture or other likeness, without additional compensation, for public relations, advertising and promotional purposes as may be determined by Sponsor.
9. WINNERS LIST: For the name of the prize winners, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: MaggieMoo’s Sweepstakes Winners List, P.O. Box 7456, East Rutherford, NJ 07073-7456 by March 14, 2007.
