MaggieMoo’s Announces Growth Plans for The Midwest

 

Lincoln, NE – The populations in Lincoln and Omaha, NE will soon be seeing more spots. MaggieMoo’s International, LLC, which currently owns and franchises more than 180 small batch ice cream Treateries nationwide, today announced plans to increase its presence in the Midwest. The company will open 6 additional Treateries in the Lincoln and Omaha, NE markets in the next two years.  This is part of the companies overall national plan to have 1000 treateries open and under contract by 2010.

Each Treatery crafts more than 40 flavors of small-batch ice cream fresh every day. The ice cream artisans start with a natural, proprietary mix and the freshest dairy products available to ensure the highest quality, best tasting treats possible.  The ice cream is then folded (rather than whipped) to create a smooth, creamy texture and frozen on-site. By mixing and freezing each batch fresh in the Treatery, MaggieMoo’s prevents the formation of ice crystals that can result during the “freeze/thaw” cycle other concepts must endure when transporting their products from the manufacturing facility to the retail location.
